BTW. I did see Heart back in their hay day. Great band, and still performing these days too.Cheers, Barrie.

Re: Tunes that evoke emotion.
You certainly don't have to be religious (I'm far from that) to appreciate this version of Amazing Grace by Doyle Dykes and his daughter.
Cheers, Barrie.

Re: Tunes that evoke emotion.
^^^Certainly right LPN.
I've always liked heavy bands that compose something on the moodier side from time to time, this one came to mind, great slide and echo paired with painfully introspective lyrics on this one, life in the hard lane...meets shelter...

Re: Tunes that evoke emotion.
This tune always got me for some reason (probably because I'd have eaten broken glass to be with Stevie Nicks back in the day
)Nevertheless, I love this tune...

Johnny Cash
Gary Moore Eric Burdon and the Animals These songs really mean a lot to me, House in particular. This song has been a part of my life for 45 years.

Re: Tunes that evoke emotion.
Kansas Lamplight Symphony; always evokes emotion for me. The writing of the song is very good and the lyrics are excellent. Robin Trower Bridge Of Sighs This one speaks to me for some reason. Kind of Melancholy |
