Oh man, i didnt even know he was still playing,
he was the very first super fast guitarist
and also a killer tastey blues player and singer.
And very tastey, is he sill using ES335's?

Yeah!335s and gibson made a copy of Big Red With the stickers and all on it with the strat center pick up, I played with Alvin in Germany,a few years back,

I love that guitar, it really takes me back, i painted
him playing at Woodstock for a High School Art class.

That is really cool to have under your belt to have
played with such a great player!!

I just bought one, That an NS 4 wave, It has great tone like a double bass, Alvin used this bass on his new CD saguitar,

Wow that's awesome, I first heard of Alvin from the woodstock DVD. His guitar playing on that is just IMMENSE!!!

Alvin Lee is the guy that made me want to play git the first time and he is the reason I picked it up again. With a whole lot more commitment this time. Alvin was probably the first guy referred to as a guitar God way back in the 60z, in an old Rolling Stone record review. What a player yesterday, today, and for the future.
