Re: Carnada and I to do a joint Iron Maiden cover?

Yeah ill be down for doing Adrian's shizzle My tones probaly more suited to his role anyway, but my solo wont be totally his style, it will be more mine, and i think you should make it more yours aswell carnada!

And totally dude we need need vocals! If theres no good drum backing tracks floating around i might have to just make my own backing track. But what im thinking is i give you the drums and then then you each record it along with it. Cut the audio to fit to a bar perfectly, Make it into a .wav or M4a (so its better quality) but if mp3 is all you can do then it wont really matter. Send it to me and then ill put it with the drums and my take, add any EQ if needed, then mix it... and it should be a pretty decent little recording from the Marshall forum!

All we need now is a bassist based in Kazakstan and we are going to have covered most of the main landmasses...

Popcorn please... BIG one... I will take my seat and wait.... for "2 Minutes to Midnight".

Re: Carnada and I to do a joint Iron Maiden cover?

The thing is I already do maiden tributes with my drummer who sends me the drum tracks online, and then I get my bassist friend from florida who is also a maiden freak to do the bass lines, and then I put it all together and its guaranteed to sound just like maiden cuz we have the same amps and everything lol. And I usually do the vocals lol. They are kinda bad but still...

Mate... 2 Minutes To Midnight was originally written to have Dave Murray harmonised with a Alto Mongolian Nose Flute...it is the way it was supposed to be, if you are going to do it, do it as it was intended. Get a Mongolian to play the Nasal Flute.

The only reason it was not recorded with a nose flute was the lack of a player from that continent and the Maiden player allocated to the live flute was Nico McBrain who (obviously) could not have got any wind into it through that nose of his....

Also more seriously, being a drummer he was at risk of shoving a drum stick up there instead of the flute.

Cool man! I'm working on Vocals. Lets get this happening. John C can you do the bass?

Nose Flute? Carnada uses racks, so he should have the Mongolian Nose Flute patch.
