Re: riffage

Disposable Heroes (pretty much the entire song's worth of riffs

and also, Fade to Black, the riff with the descending triplets.

Re: riffage

In all seriousness...I do like the Tush riff. Nightrain and Out ta Get Me are cool too. Oh and Unchained, Panama, Houses of the Holy, Whole Lotta Love....ah hell. I can't pick a fav.

Re: riffage

a million riffs have been my fav over the years untill i hear it soooooo many times it kinda loses some of its magic (I remember diggin the shit out of Sweet Home Alabama for a few years when it came out) ......i about fell over the first time i heard Black Dog, Back in Black, Faries Wear Boots, Cary on Wayward Son, Eruption/Unchained, Riff Raff, Holy Wars, Highway Star, Bring it on Home, Madhouse, The Lemon Song....When i hear something like that the OCD kicks in and i listen to it over and over and over.....When i first discovered Cowboys From Hell it was probably in my CD player for a year straight.....as was the first cream,....first boston....first dream theater

Does anyone else ever notice that a riff you think is really cool kinda loses its magic after you learn to play it on guitar? .....not all of em, but alot of em.

......sorry, i was ramblin'.......to answer the question.....today, my fav riff is Scuttle Buttin-SRV.
