Does anyone have any info on this stack?

I am interested in buying a 8X10 to use for bass and guitar. This listing on ebay does not have alot of information and I can't find alot on the internet. So is this cabinet worth the price and worth my time?

I have zero info on that cab, but an 8x10 cabinet is what it is. I just wonder what kind of speakers are in it, and how easy it is to find a replacement for the missing one. I do know that you can get an Ampeg for the same money in better condition.

Re: Does anyone have any info on this stack?

The Marshall 8x10" model 1990, was not a basscab.
It was a cab meant for use with 50w lead or organ amps,
when it was introduced in the late 60's.

The fact that it's missing a speaker would fuck the impedance up, probably meaning the owner has been running it improperly since the speaker was lost.

They don't sound so smart =/

Re: Does anyone have any info on this stack?

lol! I would definitely avoid that one, especially at that price.

with a feeble description like that I would definitely want to look it over in person first and test it with an amp before buying.

the chances are you will end up with something horrible.

also in my experience people who dont put any effort into their ebay listings dont put any effort into their packaging either and their things break in the post.

made me chuckle...

Thanks for the feedback guys, I asked the seller the same questions you guys were asking and didn't get any real answers. I will avoid this cabinet. This is a great forum.
