Replacing the jack plate...help?
Hi I'm replacing my jack plate on my 1960a cab and I found some that are 140watt/channel but I can't find any of the 150watt...could this still work for my cab? I play out of a mesa single rec head.
Marshall speaker cabinet Stereo Jackplate JCM 900 Thanks! |

Hi, It will work just fine as long as it switches the same way the original does. The watt rating listed on the back of the plate has to do with the speakers power rating rather then the rating of the switch plate, the switch plate does just that "it Switches" so there is not any real kind of load there. Just never switch it while the amp is on.
