New Cab Day! (Sorta)

I swapped out the speakers in my 1960 Lead to these;

Its louder but sounds incredible. Thought I would share because im excited.

right now i actually am micing the vintage 30 live. it does such a nice job ripping through the mix. When i record i like both tho. my e906 mic sounds good on both

Do you still have the Mono/Stereo switch on there? I couldn't help but notice the V30's were 8ohms.

Transformers inside amplifiers were not originally designed to be in there, and the tube was not created for the guitar amp.
ANY recommended idle current is a guideline and in no way a necessary requirement. There is no skeleton key for any tube amp.

yes i do but obviously only use the 8ohm side and not the 2 ohm. so it is now 8 ohm mono or 4 ohm stereo
