New Cab Day! (Sorta)

I swapped out the speakers in my 1960 Lead to these;

Its louder but sounds incredible. Thought I would share because im excited.

right now i actually am micing the vintage 30 live. it does such a nice job ripping through the mix. When i record i like both tho. my e906 mic sounds good on both

Do you still have the Mono/Stereo switch on there? I couldn't help but notice the V30's were 8ohms.

yes i do but obviously only use the 8ohm side and not the 2 ohm. so it is now 8 ohm mono or 4 ohm stereo

I couldn't help but notice the V30's were 8ohms. __________________ Transformers inside amplifiers were not originally designed to be in there, and the tube was not created for the guitar amp. ANY recommended idle current is a guideline and in no way a necessary requirement. There is no skeleton key for any tube amp.
