Do 2x12 cabinets have less bass response than 4x12?
Well do they? lol im asking because im in the market for a 2x12 cab, but im concerned over losing bass response since I will only have two speakers.
I would want to go for an avatar traditional cab, by the way.

Yes. Fact is, in a 4x12 you have twice the speakers moving air than you do in a 2x12. However you can probably compensate for this by running a pair of high wattage speakers in it.
