Can't we just move on? If anybody wants to talk politics go join a political forum and give it all you got. I personally don't give a damn about politics or politicians. I'm here to discuss music and Marshall stuff.

Ive found just the place. We will have to watch for spiders, scorpions and snakes getting into our gear, but shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Does anyone have the info on Celestion speakers being made in China even with the newer MADE IN ENGLAND tags on them? If I'm not mistaken the parts are all England parts just assembled in China. I'm still on the line with this one...

Well the reason I started this thread because I am looking to replace the rocket 50's that came in the MC412A cab. I went to zzounds first to look and every celestion they list states that it is imported from China. This is info not alot of other vendors deems relevent to the consumer. I still have not purchased new replacement speakers or a 1960A cab which everyone has suggested I do.

I see their point and I am probably going to do this cause the MC412A is starting to wear on me!

The cheaper Celestions sound ok at low volumes, but cranked up they dont perform as solidly as a v30 etc.
Why dont you email Mr decibel at celestion-he usually replies to emails, and hes the one that will give you the truth on Celestion speakers.

Well when I first got the half stack, several people ( including many here) stated that the MC412A was sloppy/loose sounding. I can't disagree with that statement at all. It was the JCM 2000 DSL 100 I was really going after. I figured a new/used 1960A would follow soon after. Still on the hunt for one.
