Vintage marshall pa cabs

I have just been given 2 Marshall PA cabs I know nothing about them apart from the fact they are both signed by jim Marshall inside. All the speakers are celestion but htree are newer rola celestions .

Have a look:

Those things look like tanks! Reminds me a lot of the 8x10, so I would assume in the same price range of 1k-2k range.

I think these are 8 inch speakers but I have no use for them I am a bass player and i got them given to me and I just want them out of my garage

If they were old (pre-Rola) and original they should have basketweave or pinstripe grillcloth.
Some PA cabs lost their original grillcloth to 4x12" cabs.

Try to find the date codes on the oldest speakers.
Should be two letters, and one or two digits.

Hi I have had a good look at the speakers thems elves and the only markings I can find is

1 a stamp which says 9470
2 a stamp which says 15 which must be ohms
3 the rola ones just have a 15 sticker and a rola celetion speaker and the fremes are painted black


any help gratefully recieved
