1960a wiring question
hi,i just put to v30 in my 1960 cab,the thing is ...i forgot how the wire were plug on the dpdt swtch! damn memories.... there is 4 pin on the switch but i dont see wich are +or_ so i did plug the to red in the middle and the 2 black on both end of the switch but im not sure at all if it is ok.. i see somme diagram but its not clear to me maybe a picture will help me! thanks

Jumbo Sunshade - Speaker Wiring Diagrams Are the ohms on all the speakers the same?

Transformers inside amplifiers were not originally designed to be in there, and the tube was not created for the guitar amp. ANY recommended idle current is a guideline and in no way a necessary requirement. There is no skeleton key for any tube amp. |

thanks for reply me! thats the best diagram to explain ,after watchin it 10 minute,if i did plug the 2 red from speaker in the midlle and the to black on both end,it seems that i did run my cab in 4 ohm for a couple of hour!! is that right?Yes their all 16 ohm gt75...

Whenever I'm done wiring a cabinet I always double check my work to make sure I didn't mess anything up, I just stick a speaker cable in the jack of the cab and take a multimeter set to the lowest ohms setting, touch the neutral to the jacket and the positive to the tip. That way I always know for sure everything is good to go.
