Hi, new here,
I have a Marshall PA400 amp which runs 2x200w Toa speakers quite nicely, the only prob is that the bass freq. gets very distorted and they basically aren't meaty enough on the low end. I've managed to pick up 2x200w bass cabinets for (not sure of make) and i'm not sure how or if I can connect them. Basically the amp allows speaker out for right and left on the back, and a pre amp out and monitors out on the front. Does anyone know how I can add my bass bins into my setup? I basically want to take the low freq. strain away from the other speakers# Cheers |

Re: HELP?!?!?! Bass cabs for Marshall PA 400
What you need is some kind of crossover to separate the lows and send those to the subs, and send everything else to your main speakers. You could put a passive high pass crossover inside your PA speakers, and another low pass crossover in the subs.
