Correct Jack for Basketweave Cab???

I recently picked up an empty old BW B cab with tattered tolex, crimped BW cloth, Marshall logo'd plastic handles and caster cups, brass screws for plastic corners & gold string top & bottom (string and corners gone).

A basket case to some, but structurally sound with huge potential with vintage wood.

The original MDF back board is missing the jack plate, and for some reason a previous owner drilled two new holes (left and right of original jack placement). In one of those holes is a CTS style jack, to which the speakers were wired.

My question is this: Does anyone know the correct jack plate / jack receptical for this apparently mid-70's cab??? I want to replace the back board with 11-ply birch and install an era correct jack set up.

Thanks!

This is the only pic I have of it now... (never mind the Legacy rehab & 2205 cab rebuild project!!)

Re: Correct Jack for Basketweave Cab???

OMG...the P/O of my 1982 cabinet ALSO drilled two holes next to the jack! He then mounted a jack on a plastic light switch cover that one would put on a wall! Talk about a DPO...(dreaded previous owner)

The correct jack receptical can be had on eBay for like $5. It's a cup with a hole to mount the jack and three screw holes to mount it. You might want to block off the holes that were drilled too; I did.

Must've been the thing to do WAY back then for whatever reason...

BTW - I discovered that my cab is truly NOT a BW, rather more likely a mid-70's Checkerboard unit... just the same (and probably better for my restoration effort) I'll replace the MDF back board with 11-ply birch and install a repro jack cup.

I'm guessing, cuz I still can't find it, that a simple CTS type jack was used??? It'll be as effective as anything, I guess...
