i've got avt 50 head and just purchased a jcm 800...looking for a 2x12 cab that will work perfect for these two amps...i want the vintage 30's but don't know what ohm speaker to get...4,8, 16...should i get the cab in stereo as well or just mono...thanks for the help...

Of course this depends on your amps' available settings, but I would get 16 ohm speakers, and wire them in parallel so together they're 8 ohms. Before you do this, make sure that BOTH AMPS HAVE AN 8 OHM SETTING.

A stereo cab won't help you since your amps are mono...unless you want to run one amp through one speaker, and the other amp through the other speaker. It still would NOT be stereo, just 2 different amps coming through 2 different speakers. Then each amp would be set for 16 ohms.
