Difference jcm 800 2x12 cab and newer 1936 cab??

Does anyone know if there are differences in the older early 80's JCM 800 2x12 cabinets and the newer 1936 2x12 cabinets? Ie materials, size, tone, etc.?

I am thinking of buying another 2x12 to accompany my current 1936 cab, but want the sound to be as close as possible. I'll be equipping both with v30's.

thanks

Jcm 800 2x12 is Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar superior than current 1936 cabs. Start with jcm800 made from ply. Then compare to JCM900 1936 particle concoction of this and that and glue, but it is light to carry-thats a plus!
