Best 4x12 Cabinet

I'm looking for a 4x12 cab to go with my Marshall JCM 900 4500 head. Any ideas? I'm kind of partial to the look of orange tolex.

Check out the Marshall 1960av/bv it has vintage 30's in it and will give you nice rounded sound.

Hello. I own and use the 425B cabinet with my JVM head and can tell you that it is a great cabinet! It covers all the bass, mid, and treble sounds very well. The speakers are G12C made by celestion and marshall. I love using the clean channel on this thing-super sound. These speakers can handle just about any kind of gain you throw at it. These cabs are a big expensive, but if you can land a great deal, then I'd go for it. But before you throw down your hard earned money, I suggest you take you head and your gutiar and find a store that has the 425 cabinet on display and demo it for yourself. You will be surprise just how much a different in tone will result when you switch cabs/speakers! Good luck on your search. hope this helps you out.

If price isn't an issue Orange cabs are sweet. They're loaded with Vintage 30's as well. www.orangeamps.com

If price is an issue then there are some guys on Ebay that custom make cabs with orange tolex, but you may have to load the speakers yourself or pay extra for whatever speakers you prefer. Try these guys, they do custom orders as well as what's pictured. http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Lopo-Lin...34Q2ec0Q2em322

I don't see too many used Orange cabs on Ebay... Probably because most people like to hold on to them after they get them.

Re: Best 4x12 Cabinet

Also I would say as far as speakers go to either stick with the G12T-75s or the Vintage 30s. Or you can X two of each on a custom order.
