15 ohm speakers question

I'm confused - how can I use vintage Celestion 15 ohm speakers with my amp heads that have 8 or 16 ohm outputs?

Does the 1 ohm difference make any difference to the sound or will it damage the amp/speaker?

Re: 15 ohm speakers question

A 15 ohm speaker IS a "16 ohm" speaker. If you measure a 16 ohm speaker with a DC ohmeter, it will measure somewhere around 15 ohms. You're good to go.
