Difference between 1926 and 1936 cabs

I'm in the market for either one of these two. Which one would be better?

Thanks in advance

Re: Difference between 1926 and 1936 cabs

never heard of a 1926... i think the diffrerence between the 1922 and 1936 was in the size of the cab. the 1922 sounded brighter to me (but maybe it was also equiped with other speakers)? maybe the 1926 is something in between those two?

It would probably just be different speakers/wattages.

That or one of the two is 2x10 and the other is 2x12.

The 1922 is also a 2x12 cab - it's just smaller

Re: Difference between 1926 and 1936 cabs

If you have a full amp head then get the 1936 and if you have a ss/hybrid amp get the 1922. The 1936 sounds big and full, the 1922 would just be a little smaller.
