thats a new greenback, if its new its made
in asia, if its from before Oct 07 its made in england but remember all parts and materials originated in the UK in the first place, they just put them together in Asia they are just as good |

Plus the heritage GM12 is rated 20W as far as I know.
I've got the exact same speaker as the one pictured above in my 1960TV cabinet from 2003, I noticed that the new Celestion G12M 25W Greenbacks have no Made in England stamp on the plastic chasis, and on the sticker it just has Celestion International LTD, the sure signs that those are assembled in China! They are also substancially cheaper than the English counterparts GM12 20W heritage. I'm not sure if you can get an English GM12 25W, does anyone know? |

yea i paid $200 a peice for my heritage 20w G12M's
you can tell the magnet is smaller on them ![]() you can get the english G12M 25's if you can find them made before 2007 but still the ones made in China sound just as good i think i think its more of the idea that its made in China that bothers people than the actual quality of them |
