Celestion G12-50?
I have a friend with a vintage Celestion 50 watt speaker. I'm gonna buy it no matter what - but I have never heard of a 50 watter. He says it is from the early-mid 70's.
Anyone have any info? Thanks!

Re: Celestion G12-50?
I have a G12S-50 in my old valvestate cab, It was a replacement by a previous owner for one of the G12L-35's which it came with. S is for small magnet, but it sounds good, quite vintagey and Greenback-like. They did not appear much, but some ADA cabs had them apparently.

Re: Celestion G12-50?
So this isn't a vintage speaker? Looks like it was used a lot in the early 90's by Crate, ADA, etc.
Still, not a bad deal for $20 - I'll still get it.
