Original Greenbacks

Hi,
During Celestion's early history, going from pre-rola to rola in Ipswich in the '70's, G12M speakers came with backs that were green, black, grey, etc. Are they all considered "greenbacks" as they are the same speaker, just Celestion going through transitionary stages?

Its kind of a complicated story, there have been blackbacks at the start when they were 20Watt,
then they were Green went to 25watt, then black again, and gray at one time
but mainly the numbering and wattage makes them different
which have different coils, papers, and magnets

not yet....Will and the gang had to get outta town for awhile w/ all the fires and stuff so he just got settled back in. so hopefully it wont be to much longer.....i asked for the habanero's; a tone report will be forthcoming!

yeah i just saw on the news where state resources are bein exhausted fightin the fires!

what sucks is all the years of working to get Northern Inland
Californias air clean and it "WAS" very clean
as clean as Montana now its back to Smog land again
