Does anyone know when Greenbacks were no longer used in 1960 4x12 cabs in the USA?
Hi, I was wondering what year did Marshall first stop making the 1960 4x12 cabs with greenbacks in them for sale in the USA? Was it around 1979? Or later maybe?

around 1980 I think. they used black plastic in the late 70's but they are still the same speaker models as the ones with green plastic.
after the last blackbacks they moved on to g12-65's i think. ive got a g12-65 dated 1979 so i know they were making them then but exactly when they started putting them in the 1960 cabs i dont know. |

The G12M is still in production as is the G12-80. The stickers on the back aren't the same anymore but you can still buy both.
