I don't plan on changing anytime soon either. I've had long hair for a very long time. It doesn't stop the girls. Many of them don't even mention hair.

I'm cutting my hair when I turn 27. That is a rule. I don't want too look to messy. I mainly grew out my hair during teenage years for fun. I had short hair all the way up till I was about 15 then I started growing it out long, I mean like half way down my back. It's fun though.

Donate it when you cut it off. There's this locks of love joint that uses hair to make wigs for cancer patients. I let my barber braid my hair up and chop it off in one big piece so I could donate mine. Made me feel a lot better about chopping it all off when I did.

I've had long hair since before I was ten years old. There was a time when I thought I needed a job so I cut my hair short. The job didn't last long so I started growing it again. I found a better job that didn't care about hair. Girls are WAY more attracted to your wallet than the length of your hair.

When I lived out in Phoenix, I had some rich girls that were hot for me. Gee! That was a lot of fun. When I was with them, my hand never had to go in my back pocket. They paid for everything. I even met a rich girl from North L.A. and she would buy my airfare so that I could come see her. One weekend I would be in L.A., the next weekend she would fly out to Phoenix. Man...she had unlimited funds. I kept that going for eight months and then one time she came out and told me that I had to move out to California, because she couldn't take it anymore. I broke up with her immediately.

When I had long hair, I didn't even have a car yet. Rednecks would see me and call me a communist. My long hair meant that I would steal cars, steal gas, steal purses and a whole bunch of negative shit.

Having long hair in 1968 meant you were against the Viet Nam war. You were a fuckin' terrorist. A Non-American.

Oh, I lived through it all. Heard it all. Got called every name you can think of. It still didn't make me cut my hair. I left my hometown for Brownsville, Texas. That my friends is what they call "far south" Texas. I grew my hair even longer and was allowed in special groups. When I came back to go to work on the railroad, they didn't have a hair policy, so the long hair stayed. By this time, it was more like a whip than a ponytail.

I stood up for what I wanted to do. Yeah, growing long hair usually involves something more than just wanting long hair. It is the rebel image, the bad boy guitar player, that's what I wanted.

The fact is that alot of girls love short hair more. The only time it was prefered over short was the 80's. Now I want long hair just for the fun of it and being a rock and roller it just seems alot more fun. Most girls though tell me to not cut my hair, just to get it out of my face. There are some that dont like it and I have been mistaken for a girl from far away but I dont care, I get enough looks from chicks when I am out and about. Yesterday my waitress at a restraunt wanted my number until she found out I was only 15 lol.

nobodys said this yet, but this is the best advice I ever got, so here goes,

dont even think about looking for "the one" until you are at least 30 years old, seriously I don't know a single friend of mine that's still with the person they went out with or even married in their 20s

our attitudes and experience change so much between late teens and 30, what is important to you and more so any female in your life in your early years changes completely as you get older,
honestly, now I wouldn't look twice at any of the girls/women that I went out with in my 20's,

when I think of all of the hassle and crap that you have to put up with from adolescent females (that's any woman under 30 btw) my advice would be to just enjoy yourself, if you get any crap, then just move on and forget it,

wait till you're in your 30s then think about relationships, I'm 45 now so I know what the hell I'm talking about, and I know for a fact that all of you youngsters will completely ignore what I've said, but there you have it

any other 30-40 somethings chip in and help out our young friends on here

I'm 29 but hitting the big 3-0 next month and only recently have I noticed that I've been developing some ideas about how I want to live my life. Sort of....core values, what's important to me and such.

I would never ever marry a girl I hadn't lived with for a while either. If I'm going to spend the rest of my life with someone, I owe it to myself to find out if I can at least live with her first.

I will take your advice. Im not planning to get married any time soon, I will just want to mess around with girllsss and get a little bit of ass

I agree with this 100 per cent. I played the field and didn't get married until I was 29. However, I married a girl that was almost ten years younger than me. What a fucking mistake. Oh, she was totally hot and I was kind of proud to have her (you know a trophy wife). I did love her, but she wasn't capable of loving herself, let alone me. Of course, it took a year of being married for us to realize this. I look back on it and the split up was her fault, but nowadays I look back on it and say, "I shouldn't have married a kid."

People who get married at age 25 are just asking for trouble. By the time you are 30, I doubt if you are still together, unless your interests are the same. Some people do what I did the second time I got married. It's the old, "I failed the first time, I'll be damned if it happens again." With that sort of attitude, the ship is sinking and you think you are still afloat. My second wife was like a bunch of termites. She just hollowed me out with all of her evilness. I took it for three "long" years before I told myself, "Enough."

Take a look at the numbers. I was single until I was 29. I was only married 1 and a half years to #1. Then I partied the second half of the 80's and was playing in a solid gigging band. I met #2 and we dated "four years." She treated me like a king. We were married for three years.

So in reality, I've only been married 4 and a half years. I've been single since August of 1999. My birthday is this Friday. I turn a wild 55. I still have dark hair, all of my teeth and I don't need Viagra. I look back on it all and I feel that I am the happiest when I don't have to "look over my shoulder."

Well, I started dating my wife at 19 and got married at 23 (at 3AM in Vegas on a Harley), but even then we split up once. We've got a ton of shit in common though, so we ended up getting back together. I'll test your theory and check back in at 30 though, which isn't too far away now. Plus, she's hot, so it's hard to let that one go.
