I've been married twice and hade countless relationships. Trick is, be yourself, and be funny. Girls love a scense of humor. Actually no it is not studded. I would like a studded one but I am known for wearing the one I wear within my friends and aquantances(spelling?). It is brown leather and has metal circle looking things on it. Not the coolest but I could see a rocker wearing one.

You guys are sooooo lucky. I dont even have really long hair right now and my mom wont let me grow it and I have to get kinda alot cut off soon. I hate it because it shouldnt be something that is a big deal to her but it is and I am not going to look like a rocker at all. I just dont feel like myself when I cant look how I want and I dont act like myself. I know that might sound dumb but I cant help it.

With long hair I get a lot of "hot and cold". One day people like it, the next they are telling me to cut it. It's kinda funny, at the end of the day I just grew it out for the F8ck of it though. It's fun to look how you want to look isn't it? I had short hair for the majority of my life, I wanted to grow it out before I'm old and grey. No offense...

Lol. It's nice not having to keep worrying about hair cuts too. It took about 2 years to get out of the "weird" phase. It stays out of my face in a pony.

I'm going to chip in here with my two cents because I was pretty much in the same situation as you when I was a teenager. I was quiet, had very little confidence and even less when it came to girls. It took a while to get over but I learned a lot over the years.

1. You're going to f**k up a lot. Don't fight it. It's just a fact of life you will have to deal with. Odds are you will have to talk to a LOT of girls to become "smooth" and know what to say and even then you'll make mistakes.

2. Some chicks won't like you no matter what. Accept it and move on. Learn to take a hint. If you ask her out and she says ANYTHING but "yes", move on. If she says she's busy, don't call her again. This is usually a sign that she isn't interested but doesn't really know how to say no. I got caught up with this chick once that gave me excuse after excuse but insisted that we should meet up "sometime". After a month or two I got the message and cut her loose. Don't become "that creepy guy that won't leave her alone".

3. Don't get hung up on a chick that says no. Sometimes you meet this chick that seems so awesome that you think there is noone else like her so you get all depressed that you will never have her. Odds are that you are wrong. There ARE other chicks out there. Millions of 'em. Pick yourself up and move on.

4. If you want a relationship, be clear with your intentions from day one. If you get the "I like you as a friend", it ain't gonna happen. Some guys think that means that they should hang out on the sidelines for a while and wait until she finally sees how grat of a guy you are. That's just Hollywood bulls**t from some Hugh Grant movie that rarely if ever happens in real life.

5. Talking to chicks isn't necesserally hard. For me, it was just the act of starting a conversation with *anyone* that was hard. I started talking to everybody, not just chicks. Gradually I got the hang of getting a conversation started and THEN moved on to applying that to talking to women.

6. Don't see women as princesses or godesses or something like that. Don't put them on a piedestahl. Just treat them as normal human beings. If she likes you she will like you even if you don't buy her expensive s**t and if she doesn't like you she won't be persuaded. The only thing you'll accomplish is losing amp money.

I probably have a lot more but I gotta go to lunch.

As a parent, I'd beat my kids' asses for talking to me like that. Granted, I'm also not the kinda dad that'd tell my kids how to dress, but if they were effing up in school or misbehaving you better believe I'd take whatever toys (i.e. amps) they enjoyed as punishment.
