Re: Picture of yourself...

Don't feel bad wareagle. Hendrix was an outcast in his time too. The same time he was playing Purple Haze, the radio was playing "yummy yummy yummy, I've got love in my tummy". He got booed off the stage because his idiotic management booked him as the opening act for the Monkees. You think he didn't feel embarrassment at times? Look at my picture from the eighties. After you get off the floor from laughing...does this really look like a guy who was rocking out with his JCM 800 wailing? I was though...

Re: Picture of yourself...

The very skinny guy on the far right. I have no idea how I was ever skinny enough to fit into those pants. I really had to laugh this past weekend. They were showing Sid and Nancy on TV and in the movie, Sid was wearing the EXACT same jacket and shirt as the guy on the far left in this picture. He (our bass player) was the one who started the band. He came to Canada from England after being in a one-hit-wonder band over there. Hence the british look, even though the rest of us were Canadian.

On-stage at Taste of Madison (Madison, WI) this past summer. Yes, I realize I could use a fashion consultant (you can't see the multi-colored Chuck Taylors), but it was HOT that day! We were one of the opening acts for Pat Travers, which was pretty cool. Rock On!

Thanks, Hot Tubes! It was definitely a cool experience to play the festival with Pat Travers on the bill. The stage was huge, crowd was in the low
1000's, sound system was unbelievable - in other words, it felt that a legitimate rock and roll experience. We've been asked back for the '09 show - I'll post some pix from next year's show as well. ROCK ON!

Re: Picture of yourself...

Me with what my family calls, "That look!"
As-in, "Ya better knock it off Billy, dad's getting that look!"
They claim I'M the Great Santini.

I'd rather stay in the "backline" with the drums and bass making the band sound good. I've said everything I ever wanted to say in a solo a buzzillion times (besides, I only have about six licks). Let the kids do that stuff. I'm groovin' in the back with the real musicians.
