Lynchmob gear pics.
Here ya go guys. played with him last night. Talked to his tech Joe all night, nice guy.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sullivan Amp was his main amp. thats where he got his main Rythem tone from and his tone was off the hook, unlike anything I've ever heard, it was stooped sounding it was so good. that little 30watter was SO LOUD I couldn't stand right in front of it cause it made my left eye twitch, I'M NOT KIDDING. the "marsha" is a reissue but it is modified by the same guy that does all of Eddie VH's heads, He used this one for all of his bluesy type of soloing stuff. The Diezel is bone stock. he got it for $1500 for Diezel himself. he used it twice. he used it for his clean stuff and that was it, and it sounded like shit ![]() Got to put "hands on" the Skull and Crossbones ESP (his main guitar, that and the new "worn" ESP), kinda klunky, George not hip on real low action I guess, but then again, he has arms the size of my legs so we have that.... the rest of his guitars were pretty stock felling, nothing really out of the ordinary. here is where it gets weird..... cords, holy shit guys, I don't think he has replaced a cord in his system since Dokken! WTF? the absolute worst cords I have ever seen in my LIFE SON! jeezus! Bent ends, RUST! (<-seriously!) fraying, you name it it was happnin' WOW is all i can say! thats about it, had a ton of fun! My band KILLED IT! had a pit of about 50 kids the whole set and was playing for about 200, it was beautiful! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Very cool Jeff. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. Maybe he has a thing about keeping/using his old chords. Maybe a good luck thing? lol

D0oD! That's awesome man! Ha, lulz on the Diezel! I don't care for them either and for the price....nevermind. Man that's sick bro. I was looking at the pix before i finished reading and thought the action looked a little high on his axes. How tall is that dude anyway?

Hey Jeff... what happened to your tits... don't tell me it was photoshop!
![]() ![]() ![]() Your band is cracking mate, I am not surprised with the gig or the reception you got, now you are staying in California with the band I expect big things for ya! All power to you and Cursed. I see Lynchmob at the end of this month at Firefest in Nottingham UK, I doubt he will be able to bring all that stuff with him. Good info and photos!

Re: Lynchmob gear pics.
Yea the Sullivan amp was SO not a POS. It is all hand built 30 watt EL84 driven BEAST. The front knobs are from left to right Vol, Treb, Bass, Shape. there is a gain knob in the back. They are only one off and built to order. The case is made from 100 year old barn wood. He wouldn't tell me what they cost. If you look on top of the Diezel you can read the words "Evil Ego Box" thats what he calls the that head.

Re: Lynchmob gear pics.
nice review. I make the Sullivan amps and thats one I made just for George. I guess from the above post that the cosmetics arent for everyone. Its something George asked for. He wanting a rustic and weathered look. I guess in the end its all about the tone anyhow right?lol. Thanks for all the kind words and the support. Wait till you hear his new amp. He will have it in the next week or two. Its cool to hear positive reports from other guitar players who get to hear my amps first hand as opposed to youtube or recorded etc. I take a lot of pride in making them and love the positive feedback. Thanks again!

If it sounds good, that's all that really matters. What kind of amp is it? EL34? High gain/med gain? How much power? Do you have a production model? How much $ ? |

Re: Lynchmob gear pics.
I jammed with george lynch one time too, and i gotta say he is definately the coolest famous guitarist/musician i've ever met. NO ego, whatsoever....humble as shit. I played rhythm guitar for him at a clinic one time, fully expecting to be off in the background burried in the mix, which was fine with me cuz i's jammin with gl ya know, besides, everyone wasn't there to see me. But NO, he kept telling me to turn up, then he'd turn up, then tell me to turn up, then he'd turn up till we were both melting faces,....It was AWESOME! He even threw me a few solo's which was cool.
one of the craziest parts is ,...his snake guitar from like wicked sensation era,... the trem was outta whack,...tilted too far back and he couldn't pull back on it far enough, he asked if there was a tech around that was able to fix it (this all took place in a giant music store, it was a ESP promotion) and there wasn't. So I was like, let me see it, I'll fix it,....and he just hands it to me. I was shaking like a whore in church, but i took it to the bench and give her the ole' set up, gave it back, and he's like "cool, thanks man,...you got an extra strap?"....for real, so i loaned him my extra strap....which of course i made him autograph for rent.
