Hey Landshark and Steve, Thanks for all the info. I am really considering trying one now. I am up in Central PA so test driving one is out of the question.
Steve mentioned that the tone isn't bass heavy like the Mesa. That is good to hear...I am not looking for that tone. I run a 1987xl into a 1960a cab. I really like my tone, but i would like to get a more classic rock tone, a little less "scooped" from the 1960 cab. It's really a nitpick but what the heck. There are worse things that i could be obsessed with other than my guitar tone
I just couldn't justify getting a Marshall cab for $1000 when i know i won't sound $1000 better
