Well, the great thing about Lee's stuff is, you can contact him directly and he will repair it. What builder will repair his own stuff 15, 20, 25 years later!?!?!
I wouldn't be afraid to buy one of the Ampeg amps as I'm sure Lee can update any parts and fix any issues that the amp has. I believe the main issue with those was that Ampeg insisted on using some cheap parts to keep costs down.
