I used an ADA MPC midi pedal when I had a JMP-1/JFX-1 set. Worked great. Ran them both into a Marshall 20/20 EL84 power amp in to an old Marshall cabinet with Celestion G12H30's that I split into stereo. That rig rocked. I downsized last year to a Marshall Studio 15 since I don't gig anymore but that rack rig rocked.
