I was listening to a Megadeth song, Killing is my business (I believe it was the remastered version so everything stuck out more, but I've noticed this on the original version of the entire album too) but it sounds like Dave Mustaine recorded 2 vocal tracks, one of him singing fairly high, the other of him singing lowish and growly (I thought it was just Dave Ellefson doing lots of backup vocals, but both sound like Mustaine)
Could just be the reverb, but it doesn't really sound like it.
There's the song, with a brutal video.
Anyway, no complaints about it, just wondering, is this a common thing to do, what other bands have done it?
