Hi,

2 x 16 Ohm cabs mean you are going down to 8 Ohm in total - this means you select "mono" on the switch on both cabs, you leave the speaker cable in the 16 Ohm socket on the cab and plug the other ends in to the two sockets on the amp which are labeled 4 Ohm / 8 Ohm (not the 16 Ohm socket). Finally you then select 8 Ohm on the switch on the DSL which overrides the 4 Ohm socket to 8 Ohm. This means both sockets are set to 8 Ohm.
