Is it worth paying US$800 for a 2000 Marshall 1987x reissue? I want to be able to hear a nice breakup at room volume, not at stadium volume. The other thing is that I dont have a cabinet. A friend of mine is selling me a 15 years old JCM800 4 celestion speaker cabinet for US$275He has not used it in the last 10 years, could the speakers be rotten?

Can I get the same Jimmy Page live 72´ & 73´ tone at lower volumes through one of the Ceriatone kits?

Please advise. I dont want to spent that big chunk of money in order to obtain an overdriven tone at volume 6 or 7 when they neighbours are getting pissed at me.
