Folks!...I’m a huge Black Sabbath/Dio/Ozzy fan and as much as I have loved ALL of Ozzy’s guitar players! there is one man I have not seen mentioned yet and he only played 4 strings not 6….Mr. Bob Daisley!!!

Now I don’t want to cause any fights, but he was Huge!! part of Blizzard of Oz and Diary of a Madman…He helped Ozzy after Tony Iommi finally hit the wall after “Never say Die” and only jamming with Dio once! Sure Randy was there as well, but lets look past the solos for a minute…not only did Bob write music with Ozzy, but he also became the new Geezer Butler in the sense that he wrote all or most of the lyrics for Ozzy!

If you dig deep like I have over the years! You will see Bob has worked with Ozzy on all the albums up to “No more tears” now lets think about that for a second…what was the last real great Ozzy record? That right folks it was No More fucking Tears!! After that Bob got sick of Ozzy never giving him a slice of the pie after always calling him crying for help, using him as a whore he could just pay off for writing help and said FUCK YOU! you’re an asshole, I’m out!

I truly do believe it’s for that reason why the albums after No More Tears are always talked about making some kind funny look on your face. Bob just knew what worked for Ozzy and all these studio guys he’s used since ’95 just don’t.
