Re: EQ pedal Question..
I had a gt10. hated it, hated it ,hated it. it was a tone sucker and a pain to use, might be ok for onstage when sound isn't critical and fast sound effect changes are necessary but in the studio I hated it. sold it on ebay for 325. I use my analog pedal board now and am quite happy with the sound. the eq can be in the loop for sound contouring or in front for some extra boost or edge.
The gt10 sounded great at the store and through small practice type amps but through my JCM 800 2204, JCM 2000 DSL100, Mesa triple rectifier and sovtek mig 50 it sucked tone. sounds hollow with no punch, no character.
I do use a gt6B on my Mesa 400+ bass rig and for some reason, it works fine.
These are just my results, yours may be different. If you choose a multi effects pedal make sure you can run it through your rig thoroughly before buying it.
