I'd try to narrow down where you problem is. Maybe try jiggling your toggle and your vol/tone controls to see if you can restore connection for a moment giving you a clue where the issue is. Is the axe new? If so, maybe you just want to go back to the dealer.

Electronic spray...not really intended for this purpose.
