I use a mesa single rec head with a marshall 1960a cab.

When I turn the volume up my cab starts making a rattling, not so good sound...but i noticed it's coming from all the speakers, not just one. And when I push down on the cable going into the input jack on the cab I can hear the cab shorting in and out a bit. Could this rattling be because I need to replace the jack plate or the speakers?
