Marshall's factory is and always has been in England. I don't know where that dude thinks they are made in China.

There is a company in the U.S.A. that rivals Celestions and they are for half the price. That company is Warehouse Speakers. Also, the cabinet that you have is not made the same way or out of the same material as the 1960 cabinets. I would try to find an empty one of those and stock it with other speakers rather than put them in the MC412. The cabinet construction has a lot to do with he sound quality as well. You wouldn't put pimped out rims on a Chrysler Reliant would you?
