The whole MIDI-thing is like a vortex, you don't wanna get too close, or you're gonna get sucked in....well I've gotten too close lately!
I'm running a couple Diezel heads, along with the JMP-1, and powering the pre's through an EL34 100/100 mono bloc. My pedals and EFX are being controlled with an SS Switchblade GL.
