I usually recommend a cab with a minimum of 120 watts power handling with a 100 watt head. And if you like to play the amp really loud with fX this might not be enough. It all boils down to how much square wave your speakers are seeing. Square waves result in excess heat build-up on the voice coils.

So, if you are going to use this cab and play it hard, I would only recommend the 25 watt setting. If you are going to play it reasonable, then you could get by playing in the 50 watt mode if you are playing at say a max of 35 watts.

It would probably be a good idea to pick up a 4 x 12 cab loaded with 35+ watt speakers for use with the full 100 watts.
