I agree with Coldsteal2, the G12C Celestion speakers found in the 425 series cabinet are great speakers. I currently run a JVM410H through a 425B cabinet and the sound is fantastic. The speakers can handle any volume I set, but they can also handle the high gain channels that the JVM produces. I know that the color may be a turn off, and for me, mixing a predominantly black head case with a predominantly purple cabinet was not my first choice, but I could not believe the sound I got from this combination. So all I can say is try out as many different cabs as possible, then decide.
