Hi.

While the Bulgin connector is the original and all, some insurance companies have been reported to refuse the compensation in an event of a fire/schock or similar event, as it's not EU approved. And IIRC it's even "classified" as a fire hazard.

IEC cord is.

I personally won't replace the Bulgin connector on mine, not in my lifetime, but if the head is toured extensively, that's something worth to be considered.
