Sure, were all a little impartial in the fact that we get a little excited when we see that white signature in a guitar store, but there's also a good amount of hate towards low end Marshall's, while I don't think it's merited, there's a reason people hate. Theyre not the same. Not at all. They sound "marshally" but its not the same. You won't be impressing anyone who knows their stuff with an MG stack. All Marshall's aren't created equal, and you DO have to worry about sound with some of them.
But you can get a badass amp that actually will impress people for the same price. If you're still not satisfied with a screaming half stack behind you on stage, take the Rush approach. Go down to a junk yard, get a few broken fridges and washing machines and stack them up next to your amp on stage
