I've got the same Monster speaker cable as you. I've also got an 'el cheapo' that came with my 900 and I've got a 'thick guage' one.

After you get past 3 on the Master I didn't notice much difference if any.

I use the Monster mostly cuz it is the shortest of the 3 and I don't want any extra cable length getting tangled with my FX loop cables and fsw cable.

Monster has the warrany which is nice...but speaker cables take the least abuse IMO.

I've never used 'lamp cord' or whatever vintage style someone above was mentioning...so maybe there's truth to it but I've no personal experience.

In all there wasn't an "a-ha" tonal moment with speaker cables. Swapping my pedal connector cables for 'better' ones was a much more discernable improvement. YMMV.
