Need decision help.
Ok quick history and then into my question. A while back I had to sell all my gear because of need. It included my 58 VOS LP and a Standard LP (2000). The 58 was the perfect guitar for me that I now compare all LP's to. All I had left was my Jimmy Vaughn strat. Well I got use to playing a strat and kind of adapted my playing to it. Over time I missed playing a LP because I like to play Cream Etc. Well recently I sold an amp and random other household stuff to buy a Traditional 50's with the push pulls. I think at the time I was happy with the purchase because it was a LP and sounded LP'ish. The thing is the LP now sounds a little thin in my head. I just feel 80-90% satisfied with it. I am just afraid that I bought it just because it was LP that I could afford which sounded decent but on the other hand I feel like maybe I am just comparing it to the 58 that I had. Well anyway I am feeling the urge to go sell my trad 50 and get a nice strat. The idea behind it is I am just going to wait till I can afford another 58 (just don't want to settle for an LP simply because its a LP). Sry for oozing out the insanity that is in my head.
