I hear ya guys about movies. They are a crap shoot.
Alot of times i find myself wanting that 2 hours of my life back.
In the search for a overdrive when i got my dsl50 (which has been sold for over 2 years now,i will have another one,oh yes) The first one i tried was a sd-1 and it hit the nail on the head first try. Right now i use 2, at seperate times of course

With it's asymmetrical clipping for me it's the perfect overdrive. I have never got to try a ts-9 or 808. From what i understand about those is they have symmetrical clipping which a tube amp rarely emits per robert keeley.
I use a keeley and a stock sd-1 well i say stock but it will now have a chipsocket in it for changing out the opamp chips. I did tell the person doing the mod to save the stock chip.

Oh and there changing the led to a yellow-green one.
But for me sd-1 hands down stock or modded.
