DSL 100 pricing - quick check
Sup everyone, thought I'd drop by now that I have more time. I've been busy like shit with playing music (that marshall half-stack I bought in May is really sounding great!) and work, friends, etc.
But now an opportunity popped up, and I had to seize it. One of the guitarists of Trivium (my favorite band) is selling some of his gear (for future reference, his name is Matt). They'll be doing a headlining tour in March sometime next year here in Europe, and for all us gear-buyers, Matt will make sure we get in for free. That means free tickets for the show + backstage passes for me and my 2-3 friends that'll be coming along.
I sent him a PM and offered him 800 USD + cuisine & recipes from my culture (he loves food). He PM'ed me back and said that we had a deal. So that means he'll be taking care of any customs charges, no shipping involved, and I can be fairly confident that the amp is working properly.
I wasn't sure about offering $800 at first, but figured that it wasn't so bad if I wouldn't have to pay customs, shipping and tickets. And since my friends would get free tickets and passes as well, that would definitely save me money since that means I'd get a free ride to and from the concert (as would they, bar the driver's gas expenses) and getting the amp directly home would also be problem-free.
What do you think?
