Okay, here's the scoop. I'm playing on a 1962 Stratocaster, and I mainly play John Frusciante, SRV, and Jimi Hendrix. Now I'm trying to decide if I should get a 2204, or 2210 or a Marshall Major. I know I can't get the exact tone for all three artists with one amp, but which amp would be most versitile?
If you have an answer, please explain why or why I shouldn't get this amp.
P.S. I mainly go for the live sounds on John Frusciante, not studio as the studio is way too hard and expensive to rig up. For example, which would get me the tone at live at Slane? I know JF uses a Silver Jub and a Major, but those two are a little out of the question right now as my tree hasn't produced that much money..sadface.
