I'm not sure if the Veteran 30's sound the same as the Celestion Vintage 30s. It's hard to tell.

They have all the great growl and mids. Thick chunky low end. And crisp clear highs.

But I don't think they sound quite the same.

They're damn good speakers I know that for sure!

They're $65 each now. Fortunately I bought mine when they were only $45 each.

It was a good buy and I don't regret it for a second!!
I was thinking they are a tad darker/smoother sounding to me but it is real close to the V30 which I like too. I got mine for $45 as well.
