I slapped a set of Veteran 30s in a MG-412 cab and it's a great sounding cab now!!!
Only thing is..... it made the cab a lot heavier so I had to install some casters on it. But I'm not complainin'!
I'm not sure if the Veteran 30's sound the same as the Celestion Vintage 30s. It's hard to tell.
They have all the great growl and mids. Thick chunky low end. And crisp clear highs.
But I don't think they sound quite the same.
They're damn good speakers I know that for sure!
They're $65 each now. Fortunately I bought mine when they were only $45 each.
It was a good buy and I don't regret it for a second!!
