There are different ways of looking at it.
First-off, yes you are not going to fool another musician with a fake wall.

maybe with one or two empty or non-working real cabs as Kendall pointed out)
And if you are caught, and somebody makes an issue of it, it can be embarrasing for the band (like a groupie with a padded bra who has to fess-up at the last minute... LOL).
But remember alot of this hobby is show-biz, and a prop like that will definately impress most of the non-playing audience. It depends on the gig I suppose.
I think that prop might look good for the house-system backline wall at a large club, with a decent size stage. I definatley wouldnt take to an outdoor event where people could walk behind it....the 4-inch thick upper cabs and 2x4" frame would definatley give it away...LOL
